So maybe the craze has died down slightly, but llamas are still a big deal for people apparently.
We as a community are embracing the spirit of the llama trade, but are considering a different approach: an awesome approach. Let's sub out one of the 'llama's for a 'comment' or 'critique'.
We motion this: browse through the deviations submitted to this group and comment constructively on them. If you receive such a comment, llama back the commenter as a prize.
This allows us to build on our community and the spirit of critiquing which is one of the only ways we can improve in the eyes of each other.
To start, anyone who comments on my work constructively will receive a llama and possibly a comment or watch as well in return.

So recently I had a thought while browsing the site and I figured I might as well share it.
Do you guys think the group should be kept exclusively photographic, or allow for other mediums of experimental work, ie: literature & traditional art?
I think it would open us up to a larger audience of artists and allow the group to become more reachable to artists who may find themselves struggling to fit their art anywhere.

Chatroom and Avatar
We now have a chatroom! #wearewired if you would like to chat with other members in a group setting, you may also join to talk to an admin if need be.
We are still looking for you guys to design us an avatar and so far only one member has stepped up, this is a little disappointing. Read the previous blog for what we are looking for.
Come on guys, let's all contribute something! Like I said, it doesn't need to be some incredible work of genius. Or like musicofesis (https://www.deviantart.com/musicofesis) said, he did it so anyone can.
Design us an avatar
Although I do like the current avatar for the group, it would be interesting to see some of the ideas members can come up with.
The avatar should somehow pertain to the group, either portraying some aspect of photography, preferably something that says experimental or something that involves wires, as in electrical wires or whatever 'wired' means to you. It could also be photography wired or some form of that.
Go crazy!
You don't have to be a superbly skilled pixel artist or some artistic genius to do this, just have fun!
The specs for the avatar are: 100X50 pixels, in either png or gif format and 15KB or less.
Voting?
Should submissions be left to up to a vote, or should they continue to be automatically added to the various galleries?
Voting may help to keep what we want and don't want in the group.
